Melissa Perlman is a passionate and dynamic yoga and fitness teacher, meditation guide, and the soulful force behind the movement at Amansala in Tulum. With over a decade of experience, Melissa brings a unique blend of ancient wisdom and modern athleticism to every class she leads.

Her journey began with an immersion in traditional yoga and meditation while studying abroad in India, where she earned her 200-hour yoga certification. Deepening her practice, Melissa went on to spend several years training with Buddhist monks, learning to integrate mindfulness, breath, and presence into every movement.

Melissa's signature style merges the discipline and fire of Ashtanga yoga with the grounded stillness of Buddhist meditation. Her fitness offerings are not just workouts—they are rituals.
