We are delighted to be hosting you at Amansala for your upcoming retreat and are sharing some helpful information regarding your stay.
If you arrive earlier we can arrange an early check-in for a small fee, or give you a place to change and store your things until your room is ready.
If your departure time is later in the day, we ask you to have your things packed up by 12:00 PM. You are welcome to enjoy the beach and restaurant — bathrooms and showers are available for your use.
All meals are included except one offsite dinner, which your teacher may plan — or you can use the night to explore Tulum's amazing restaurants.
Lunch on arrival day is not included, but a special lunch + fresh drink is available for $15 if you arrive early.
Your driver will be waiting just outside the airport arrivals area, holding an Amansala sign and ready to welcome you to paradise.
Transportation rates vary depending on how many guests share the ride. If a flight is delayed or arrival plans change, pricing may adjust accordingly — but we always do our best to pair guests so everyone can enjoy shared pricing when possible. The transfer will be conveniently added to your room bill upon arrival.
Gratuities are entirely optional — if you'd like to offer a small tip for great service, it's always appreciated.

The included gratuity covers retreat services only. While never required, many groups choose to leave an additional tip at their own discretion at the end of the retreat. The teacher collects and shares with our team.
In Mexico, even a small gesture is deeply appreciated. Bringing small bills for bell staff upon arrival or leaving something for housekeeping at the end of your stay is always at your discretion.
Each guest has their own tab — any extra charges are added to your room and paid at checkout (Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, or cash).
16% tax applies to all charges. For any additional food or drinks, a suggested 15% gratuity will be added to your bill — you may adjust this up or down as you like.
We have amazing body workers available throughout your stay. All spa services must be cancelled at least 12 hours in advance; otherwise, you will be charged in full.

Sign up to visit our favourite local highlights based on your group's schedule. Some groups have tours included — please check with your teacher. Groups under 6 will incur a small surcharge depending on size.
