Amansala is a combination of simple pleasures and extraordinary experiences.

Amansala is located on one of the most truly stunning beaches in the world, a 4 hours flight from NYC and most other major US cities, and can best be described as shabby-chic. We take care of all the little details -from candles and incense at sundown, to luxurious linens, plush towels, great service and delicious, healthy food. Days are a combination of excursions to one of the fresh water swimming holes or nearby Mayan ruins, beachside massages and Mayan Clay Treatments and relaxing in a hammock or on the beach. Away from cell phones, computers, and the pressures of day-to-day life, Amansala provides you with an opportunity to reconnect with life's basics.

To reach Amansala from the Cancun airport:

Follow the main highway south, towards Playa del Carmen and Tulum.You will stay on this highway until you reach Tulum pueblo, past Playa del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras and Akumal. Once you reach Tulum, turn left at the second stop light, towards Boca Paila and Punta Allen. At the end of the road, turn right and follow the road (it will get bumpy) about 5 kilometers (3.5 miles). Amansala will be on your left.
